Job summary

Mary Crane Center is hiring Teacher Assistants for their Early Head Start classrooms in Austin, Texas. Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood OR 60 college credits (15 in ECE).
• Gateways Infant Toddler Credential Level 4.
• Able to lift 30 lbs and work on the floor with children.
• Reliable, team‑oriented, and open to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Support daily care, routines, and play for infants and toddlers.
• Help create a calm, safe, and engaging classroom.
• Work side‑by‑side with a Lead Teacher.
• Build positive relationships with children and families.
