Job summary

Child Care Resource Center (CCRC) is offering a part-time Early Childhood Apprenticeship opportunity in California. The role emphasizes learning CSPP protocols, working with children, and supporting teaching staff under supervision.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and a desire to grow in early childhood education. Part-time (up to 20 hours per week) with a focus on job shadowing, classroom support, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Professional or personal experience with children and families and/or referring community services to others.
• Technical: Beginner skill and/or a desire to learn basic office applications such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Learn and adhere to all Agency, state, and federal regulations including CSPP protocols, procedures, and guidelines.
• Interact with children in a positive manner.
• Assist with classroom preparation and materials; maintain clean and safe environments.
• Observe Teaching Staff using the Creative Curriculum to provide age-appropriate activities.
