Job summary

Qualifications

• CDA or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in child care or early childhood education desirable.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Willingness to renew first aid and CPR certifications.
• Physical stamina to stand and lift up to 25 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Welcome children and parents warmly to create an inviting environment.
• Explain program guidelines clearly to children and parents.
• Assist in overseeing daily operations and ensure licensing compliance.
• Respond to inquiries from parents with detailed program information.
• Maintain safety protocols for all children in care.
• Communicate progress and milestones to parents regularly.
• Support Director in leading teachers and staff.
• Help implement curriculum enhancements and teaching methods.
• Build relationships with community partners and institutions.
• Participate in program evaluations and professional development.
• Act as substitute for the Director when needed.
• Assist with administrative duties: records, reporting, enrollment.
