Qualifications

• Four year degree preferred.
• Ability to relate to and work with disabled children.
• Demonstrate integrity and good moral character and initiative.
• Interpersonal skills to relate well with students, staff, administration, parents, and the community.
• Previous experience with Applied Behavior Analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist the students with all instructional and non-instructional tasks as assigned by the teacher.
• Collect data and use student program books; share updates with staff.
• Assist students with preparation of materials and books.
• Assist the teacher in related clerical work.
• Use computers/electronic equipment to fulfill job functions and support remote learning.
• Serve as a role model for students and staff with positive attitudes and professional behavior.
• Participate in in-service and workshops and attend required meetings.
• Demonstrate ethical behavior when working with students, parents, staff and outside agencies.
• Protect confidentiality of records and information.
