Job description

Positions Available

Full-time positions are available with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Responsibilities:
  1. Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children
  2. Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones
  3. Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines
Qualifications:

Candidates must pass required background checks and meet minimum education and experience requirements:

  1. 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
  2. 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings (preferred)
  3. CDA, Associate, or bachelor's degree in early education or related field (strongly preferred)
  4. Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children (required)
  5. Must meet Maryland Licensing qualifications, including MSDE 90 clock hour certification
  6. Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19

Physical Requirements:

This role requires compliance with health and safety protocols, including immunizations and physical screenings. The position involves in-person supervision and care in an early education setting.

Compensation:

The hourly rate is between $18.25 and $22.30, depending on experience and other factors. A hiring incentive of up to $2,000 is available after 100 days of employment.
