Job summary

Big Blue Marble Academy is seeking an Early Child Care Assistant Teacher to join our Augusta, GA center. You will work closely with the Lead Teacher to support daily activities and ensure a safe, engaging classroom environment for infants through preschoolers.

You will partner with families to nurture children, documenting milestones with electronic tracking, and adhere to enhanced safety guidelines to keep the space safe and welcoming.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED required.
• Demonstrated experience working with children; child care, daycare, or preschool preferred.
• Early childhood coursework, CDA or degree preferred.
• Employees must stand 6–8 hours daily, with ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Must be able to visually supervise children at all times.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Lead Teacher to facilitate daily activities and ensure the classroom runs smoothly.
