WSP in Irvine, CA is seeking an Early Career Structural Engineer to join our collaborative Structural Engineering Team. You will contribute to the design of new buildings and restoration projects across the United States, using BIM tools and modern design methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• 0–1 year post-education experience.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with design/build processes.
• Knowledge of structural codes and regulations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient in BIM and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently or in a team.
• Willing to travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design of new and restored buildings.
• Analyze superstructures and foundations in timber, concrete, steel, and masonry.
• Use latest design technology and digital tools.
• Assist with site condition investigations and compliance checks.
• Provide entry-level technical assistance on design requirements.
• Verify site characteristics and structural soundness against loads.
• Prepare complete documentation with drawings and logs.
• Follow safety guidelines and project procedures.
• Complete assigned task training.
• Adhere to company policies and ethics.
