Job summary

Pax is building an AI control tower for global trade and is seeking an early-career software engineer in San Francisco to own real features end-to-end—from API design to frontend UI—and ship for enterprise customers.

You’ll work with React, Next.js, FastAPI, SQLModel and Postgres, build with LLMs, and collaborate with founders to shape a growing platform that handles tens of millions in annual trade volume.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with modern web frameworks and APIs.
• Proven ability to ship features end-to-end.
• Curious about building with LLMs and AI-enabled tools.
• Strong frontend and backend fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Own real features end-to-end: API design, backend logic, frontend UI, and everything in between.
• Build tools that make complex regulations feel like magic.
• Work directly with customers to understand what matters, then ship fast.
