Job summary

ERCOT invites entry‑level engineers to join the Grid and Market Solutions Development Program (GDP) in Taylor, TX. You will gain hands‑on experience with Grid/Market applications, learn fundamentals of power systems, and be mentored while working with leading tech stacks.

You will design, code, test, and deploy modifications within a formal SDLC, supporting EMS/MMS, SCADA, and related systems. A bachelor’s in engineering or CS is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• Coursework or focus in Power Systems is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of grid and market software concepts is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for Grid and Market applications across multiple systems.
• Design, code, test, and implement modifications per SDLC standards.
• Install, configure, and support grid/market products from vendors.
