Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a materials-related field, preferably Metallurgy.
  • 0–2 years of metal or materials development experience.
  • Broad metallurgical knowledge including metals, alloys, processing.
  • Knowledge of coating processes (PVD, CVD, electroplating, welding).
  • Strong engineering fundamentals and failure analysis techniques.
  • Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical solutions to materials-related problems.
  • Design and run lab tests, simulations, and production experiments.
  • Collaborate across labs, plants, and teams to solve issues.
  • Conduct failure analyses and recommend long-term fixes.
  • Develop and write metal specifications and qualify vendors.
  • Support projects in lab and manufacturing environments.
  • Manage multiple projects with changing priorities.
