Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants in Lakewood, CO seeks an Early-Career Mechanical Drafter to support water and wastewater projects. You will draft and finalize drawings, develop layouts, and detail plans for design packages through construction.

Hybrid or remote work may be available at the Company's discretion. The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Drafting or equivalent, strong AutoCAD/Civil 3D skills, and solid math, geometry, and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Drafting or equivalent.
• Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD (latest release) required.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D required.
• Knowledge of land or aerial surveying data preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, & finalize technical drawings.
• Operate CAD software to develop final drawings.
• Transfer information from engineering drawings to CAD drawings.
• Analyze sketches and input data to determine best approach.
• Review CAD drawings for accuracy and formatting.
• Collaborate with CAD team to improve standards.
