Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Drafting or high school diploma with 1 year CAD drafting experience (required).
• Strong math, geometry, and trigonometry fundamentals (required).
• Experience with Autodesk AutoCAD and Civil 3D (required).
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret engineering drawings (required).
• Familiarity with land or aerial surveying data (preferred).
• Excellent communication and ability to work in a team environment (required).

Responsibilities

• Draft, edit, and finalize technical drawings.
• Operate CAD software to develop final drawings.
• Transfer information from engineering drawings to CAD drawings using standards.
• Analyze sketches and input to determine best drafting approach.
• Copy detailed plans and perform complex drafting tasks.
• Collaborate with CAD team to ensure design quality.
• Coordinate with project staff for on-site or office work as needed.
