Job summary

Invesco invites students to join a Digital Assets Summer Internship – Early Careers Overview in New York. The 9-week program begins in June 2027, offering hands-on exposure to client services within a global investment firm, with orientation, events, workshops, and volunteer activities.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program and a junior graduating by the summer of 2028.
• Preferred tech backgrounds include Computer Science, Information Technology, Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT), AI/Data Science; Business backgrounds include Finance, Economics.
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
• Demonstrated interest in digital assets, blockchain technology, and financial markets with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, advanced functions) and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong organizational abilities, leadership qualities, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment; must be able to work in Invesco's New York office.
• Preferred: digital assets or blockchain experience; knowledge of Power BI or Tableau; familiarity with R, Python, or VBA; experience with data visualization tools.

Responsibilities

• Presentation & Documentation Support: Develop executive presentations, market insights, competitive analyses, and product materials for digital asset initiatives and senior leadership decision-making.
• Idea Contribution: Share insights and suggestions during team meetings to enhance product offerings and processes.
• Competitor Benchmarking: Conduct industry, market, and competitor research on tokenization, stablecoins, blockchain infrastructure, and asset managers to identify trends and opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with technology, investments, distribution, legal, compliance, risk, and operations to support product development and commercialization.
• Project Variety: Support high-impact projects related to tokenized funds, blockchain-enabled infrastructure, digital asset product development, client education, and partnerships.

Digital Assets Team Overview

Our team leads Invesco's global digital assets strategy, including tokenized funds, digital asset investment products, blockchain-enabled market infrastructure, and emerging on‑chain opportunities. Acting as a center of excellence across the firm, we partner with investment, distribution, technology, legal, compliance, and operations teams to bring innovative solutions to market. This internship will be located in our New York office.

What you’ll do:

• Presentation & Documentation Support: Develop executive presentations, market insights, competitive analyses, and product materials that support strategic digital asset initiatives and senior leadership decision‑making.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of mutual fund operations and capital markets

• Familiarity with programming languages such as R, Python, or VBA is a plus

• Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau

• Understanding of AI applications (e.g., chatbots, predictive analytics)
