Job summary

Envelop Group’s Open Control Systems (OCS) seeks a Sales Engineer to estimate, quote, negotiate, and sell HVAC controls projects across design/build and plan/spec opportunities. This role combines technical sales with field service and requires travel to customer sites.

You will develop relationships with building owners, consulting engineers, and contractors, perform take-offs, budgets, proposals, and maintain CRM records to meet annual sales targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 2+ years in Building Automation or HVAC controls sales.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth by pursuing HVAC controls opportunities from lead to close.
• Develop long-term relationships with owners, engineers, and contractors.
• Prepare and present estimates, budgets, and proposals.
• Demonstrate understanding of HVAC, controls, and IT concepts.
• Manage full sales cycle including sourcing, bidding and follow-up.
