Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. in Raleigh, NC seeks an Early-Career Environmental Remediation Engineer or Geologist to support site assessment and remediation projects. You will perform fieldwork, data analysis, and modeling under supervision, applying engineering or geology training to real-world environmental challenges.

Qualifications

2+ years related experience (preferred).
Experience in contaminated media or remediation tech (preferred).
Travel and field work required (overnight).
Driver's license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

Field sampling of soil, surface water, groundwater, and vadose zone.
Chemical data and fate & transport evaluation.
Groundwater and soil remedy evaluation, design calculations, and implementation.
Geologic and hydrogeologic data analysis.
Groundwater modeling and 3D data visualization.
Preparation of technical reports, letters, and proposals.
Regulatory compliance support and permitting.
