Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Digital Engineer to contribute to the OPIR mission area within the US Space Force, helping shape system concepts, model needs, and support prime contractors and USSF partners. Location is in Dayton, OH or Boulder, CO, with a focus on digital modeling and architecture documentation.

Candidates should have a STEM bachelor’s degree with 0–2 years of related experience, MBSE using SysML, and familiarity with IEEE 15288.

Qualifications

• Requires MBSE experience using SysML (1.x) in academic or professional settings.
• Familiarity with IEEE 15288 systems engineering processes.
• US Citizenship with ability to obtain DoD security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with 0–2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop digital models of operational concepts for MOSA architecture hosting data-processing apps.
• Model and support analysis of system requirements addressing stakeholder needs.
• Deliver digital modeling artifacts to support integration of hardware and software solutions.
• Document system architecture, requirements, verification status and development roadmaps.
