Job summary

Wintermeyer Ventures in San Francisco is seeking an early-career Design Engineer to own end-to-end design and front-end development for enterprise AI products. You will translate complex AI workflows into clear interfaces for non-technical customers.

You will collaborate with founders and engineers, build reusable components, and help establish visual standards while occasionally delivering full-stack features.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of relevant experience and a completed degree or equivalent educational background.
• Experience with TypeScript, React, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as Playwright, Cypress, or Jest.
• Interest or experience in AI and machine learning products, especially making complex workflows accessible to non-technical users.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate closely with engineers and company leadership.

About the Role

We are looking for an early-career Design Engineer to own end-to-end design and front-end development for enterprise AI products. You will be the primary design voice on a small, fast-moving team, making complex AI workflows clear and usable for non-technical customers.

• One to four years of relevant experience, and a completed degree or equivalent educational background; this is a full-time role, not an internship.

Compensation & Benefits

Annual salary range: $130,000 to $180,000 USD. Visa sponsorship is available.
