Clark Construction Group seeks an Engineer to build a comprehensive understanding of the business from day one, with formal training and mentorship across project management, development, field management, and business operations. You will gain insights by working on active projects, learning budgeting, estimating, purchasing, and scheduling in a hands-on environment.

This role is active on construction sites with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) with expected graduation Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
• Interest and passion for the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Project Management: understand day-to-day and long-term financial management of construction projects.
• Financial Management: review gross billings, track change orders, and subcontractor requisitions.
• Document Control: manage submittals, RFIs, and material tracking.
• Trade Partner Success: advise subcontractors to plan for a successful field installation.
• Field Management: learn site logistics, ensure quality and safety on jobsites.
• Quality Control and Safety: monitor trades for quality and safety.
• Project Schedule: assist with schedule management and site logistics.
• Project Development: understand how we acquire new work, budget, estimate, and purchase.
• Budgeting: review initial contract docs, solicit and evaluate bids.
• Estimating: perform takeoffs, prepare bid proposals, quantify labor/materials.
• Purchasing: execute subcontractor agreements and manage relationships.
