In 1762, John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich, invented the meal that changed dining forever. As the story goes, he was playing cards and did not want to leave the gaming table to eat. He asked for a serving of roast beef to be placed between two slices of bread so he could eat with his hands. Thus, the Sandwich was born.

The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering the world's greatest hot sandwich and other menu items to our guests in a courteous, safe, and timely manner. The role also involves assisting the store in building sandwiches, salads, wraps, sides, and desserts, while following proper recipes, procedures, and adhering to Earl of Sandwich's high standards regarding food presentation, cleaning, and sanitation. Each Delivery Driver must work well in a team environment, prioritizing guest needs to ensure an exceptional dining experience.

1. Understand the layout of local streets and highways, including the quickest and alternative routes from the store to the destination.
2. Transport and carry delivery items and objects, including containers, hot boxes, coolers, and trays.
3. Answer the telephone within 3 rings with a friendly voice.
4. Take guest orders and handle cash and credit transactions.
5. Possess basic cash handling skills.
6. Enter orders accurately into the POS system.
7. Handle guest problems efficiently and courteously.
8. Prepare sandwiches, salads, and wraps following recipes.
9. Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items.
10. Suggest additional menu items to guests.
11. Check food quality to ensure freshness and safety.
12. Greet guests entering and leaving to make them feel welcome.
13. Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, including setup and breakdown of dining areas, kitchen, prep areas, and restrooms.
14. Assist with cleaning and maintenance duties as needed.
15. Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
16. Process order paperwork and payments accurately.
17. Deliver local store marketing materials to help increase sales.
18. Perform any other duties assigned by management.
