In 1762, John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich, invented the meal that changed dining forever. As the story goes, he was playing cards and did not want to leave the gaming table to eat. He asked for a serving of roast beef to be placed between two slices of bread so he could eat with his hands. Thus, the Sandwich was born.

The Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering the world's greatest hot sandwich and other menu items to our guests in a courteous, safe, and timely manner. The Delivery Driver also assists the store with building our sandwiches, salads, wraps, sides, and desserts, while following proper recipes, procedures, and Earl of Sandwich's high standards regarding food presentation, cleaning, and sanitation. Each Delivery Driver must be comfortable working in a team environment where they prioritize guest needs to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Our family knows about great sandwiches. We invented the Sandwich and have been eating sandwiches since 1762. Using 250 years of experience, we bring you Earl of Sandwich. Our secret is our famous artisan bread baked when you order, and traditional family recipes prepared with fresh ingredients. • Understand the layout of local streets and highways, including quickest and alternate routes from the store to destinations.
• Transport and carry delivery items, including containers, hot boxes, coolers, and trays.
• Answer the telephone within 3 rings with a friendly tone.
• Take guest orders and handle cash and credit transactions.
• Possess basic cash handling skills.
• Enter orders accurately into the POS system.
• Handle guest problems efficiently and courteously.
• Prepare sandwiches, salads, and wraps using recipe specifications.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu items.
• Suggestively sell additional menu items.
• Check food quality for freshness and safety.
• Greet guests entering and leaving to make them feel welcome.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, including setup and breakdown of dining areas, kitchen, prep areas, and restrooms.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance duties as needed.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Accurately process order paperwork and payments.
• Deliver local store marketing materials within the delivery area to help increase sales.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management.
