Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System seeks a skilled training designer to create written and visual training materials and to present and facilitate sessions across client organizations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Mental Health Awareness training to be completed within first 60 days of employment required.
  • Experience in Organizational Development, corporate training, presentation/facilitation, curriculum design eLearning and/or online training program creation/development; Human resource management and/or leadership; personality assessments a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Training and Consulting (60%) – Serve as content expert and POC for client company training needs; develop/deliver meaningful solutions and online/in-person training content.
  • Client Relationship and Account Management (25%) – Build positive relationships with internal and external customers; support events and activities to raise program awareness; assist with account management.
  • Administration, Record Keeping, Compliance (15%) – Maintain scheduling and documentation in the electronic record system; ensure compliance and participate in meetings and training.

Job Summary

Designs written and visual training materials. Presents/facilitates training sessions and interventions.

Responsibilities
  • Essential Functions: Training and Consulting (60%) – Serve as content expert and POC for client company training needs. Listen, problem solve and/or consult in order to develop/deliver meaningful solutions. Research, develop and deliver engaging, relevant, reliable and contemporary content, primarily focused on building soft skills, teambuilding, emotional/mental well-being and leadership. Utilize modern technology to develop and/or deliver training online and in person to include recording of training curriculum for on-demand purposes. Represent the Best Care EAP brand when working with client organizations, including promotion of services for program success and contract sustainability. Analyze effectiveness of training and workshops and develop appropriate modifications as necessary. Maintain acceptable satisfaction rate on all training and consulting services as measured by Satisfaction Surveys.
  • Client Relationship and Account Management (25%) – Build positive, respectful, and trusting relationships with both internal and external customers. Attend and support events and activities to increase awareness of the program. Assist with account management activities as requested.
  • Administration, Record Keeping, Compliance (15%) – Maintain accurate scheduling and appropriate documentation to include all client contact and notes in the electronic record system in a timely and accurate manner. Follow and comply with all professional, ethical, safety, and compliance standards, rules and regulations. Attend and participate in staff meetings, training and continuing education. Other duties as assigned.
Schedule

This is a casual position. Casual employees work on an \'as needed\' basis to meet the needs of the business. Work days/hours will often vary from week to week.

Job Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Mental Health Awareness training to be completed within first 60 days of employment required.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in any/all of the following areas: Organizational Development – Consultation and assessment; Corporate trainer; Presenter/facilitator; Curriculum design eLearning and/or online training program creation/development; Human resource management and/or leadership; Experience or credentials in personality assessments a plus.

  • Ability to travel to client organization locations to deliver onsite training.
  • Ability to deliver training outside of the Monday-Friday office hours of 8:00AM - 4:30PM.
