Job summary

Magna International is hiring for forklift operator roles supporting our Clinton, TN facility. You will safely operate forklifts and related equipment, delivering materials to production lines while identifying items via barcode tags and keeping work areas clean and organized.

Shifts available include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. You will issue components to production and pull orders as needed, with opportunities for growth within a global automotive technology company.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely operate forklift; forklift/crane license or prior forklift/crane/cherry picker experience.
• Reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Basic math skills required.
• Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
• Safety-minded mindset and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and deliver material to keep production running smoothly.
• Identify material from barcode tags per work instructions and prep for production.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area; perform housekeeping as assigned.
• Issue components and packaging to production as needed and pull orders from holding racks.
• Support other tasks as required to maintain workflow.

Job Responsibilities

Shifts Available: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Shift

Safely operate forklift to deliver material to keep production running efficiently. Proper handling, storage, packing, preservation and delivery of both material and product. Identify material from barcode tags per work instructions. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Issue components and packaging to production as needed. Pulling specified orders from holding racks. Housekeeping and other activities as assigned.

Job Qualifications

Ability to safely operate forklift; forklift/crane license or prior forklift/crane/cherry picker experience; ability to read, write, and speak English; basic math skills required; willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Physical Demands

Ability to visually inspect inbound/outbound freight and containers; sitting for extended periods of time; or continuous standing, bending, reaching, some kneeling and crawling required, climbing to get on/off forklifts; adequate vision to safely operate forklifts/cranes; visual inspection of chain/sling with each lift; lifting of up to 40 lbs.
