Commercial Metals Company in Martinsburg, WV seeks a hands-on maintenance/production worker to join our team. The role emphasizes safety, quality, cost awareness, and continuous improvement.

You will operate and support furnace and mill processes, work rotating shifts, and participate in training to advance in a Fortune 500 steel manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of relevant experience, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on department experience.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office programs.
• Ability to operate fork lift and overhead crane.
• Experience with steel mill Melt Shop operations preferred.
• Capable of lifting 50 pounds and working in harsh conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a safety-first attitude and enforce it on the crew.
• Ensure the crew produces the best quality bar.
• Maintain focus on cost and reducing waste.
• Participate in CMC Safety Programs and uphold safety culture.
• Communicate production issues and needs effectively.
• Suggest improvements in work methods and procedures.
• Daily housekeeping duties.
