EA High Power Business Manager – Space and Aerospace

Location: Remote, United States. HQ in San Diego, CA

Role

Tektronix is a global leader in test and measurement solutions, enabling innovation across industries. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic High Power Business Manager to lead our Space and Aerospace segment, driving growth and innovation in high power systems.

The High Power Business Manager (HPBM) is responsible for the financial performance and strategic direction of high power product lines within the Space and Aerospace market. This role requires a visionary leader who can drive product strategy, develop roadmaps, and execute operational plans to deliver revenue growth, margin expansion, and quality excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute product strategy and roadmaps aligned with market needs.
  • Strategic Leadership: Drive multi-year performance on Core Value Drivers (Revenue Growth, Operating Margin Expansion, Quality).
  • Strategic Leadership: Identify new opportunities, applications, and technologies to support the Space and Aerospace segment.
  • Customer & Market Engagement: Establish and maintain key customer relationships.
  • Customer & Market Engagement: Define and prioritize target customers, verticals, and geographies.
  • Customer & Market Engagement: Develop and implement go-to-market strategies.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across Engineering, Service, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and other product lines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Support cross-functional teams with technical knowledge of high power systems.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Lead or assist in major proposals, projects, and programs.
  • Portfolio & Product Management: Influence product roadmaps and market-specific technical solutions.
  • Portfolio & Product Management: Direct portfolio management, pricing strategies, competitive evaluations, and solution prioritization.
  • Portfolio & Product Management: Hold teams accountable for product planning, lifecycle management, and application development.
  • Sales & Marketing Enablement: Train sales and support teams on market-specific topics, trends, and applications.
  • Sales & Marketing Enablement: Drive creation of marketing content including application notes, technical notes, videos, and webinars.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in business management, product strategy, or technical leadership within high power systems or related fields.
  • Proven track record of driving strategic initiatives and delivering financial results.
  • Strong strategic thinking and execution capabilities.
  • Ability to lead in a matrixed global organization.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
