Qualifications

• Eligibility for U.S. Government security clearance (Active Secret).
• DoD 8570/8140 compliant Security+ certification.
• Hands-on experience with Brocade and Ruckus ICX switching.
• Experience in DoD, Navy, or federal network environments.
• Ability to work on-site full-time at NMCSD.
• Strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support deployment of a new Cisco E911 platform at a federal medical facility.
• Audit and document port-level details of Brocade and Ruckus switch environments.
• Map switch port data to Emergency Response Locations (ERLs) for E911 compliance.
• Validate switch documentation through site walkthroughs for accuracy.
• Collaborate with Cisco engineers to maintain location data.
