E2E Lead Testing Engineer

Summary
We are seeking an experienced E2E Lead Testing Engineer to own and expedite testing of our customer implementations as part of our Q2C transformation program. You will be part of a global Guidewire testing team responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both automated and manual testing frameworks. Collaboration with our business and engineering teams (Salesforce, Oracle, Middleware) is essential to ensure timely completion of testing efforts and software quality.

Roles and Responsibilities
  1. Own and lead a QA program with workstream test leads, from requirement analysis to meeting deadlines.
  2. Act as the main contact working with internal automation teams on automation priorities.
  3. Develop and manage processes for tracking, triaging, and reporting defects.
  4. Develop and execute comprehensive multi-workstream testing strategies and plans, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  5. Oversee collaboration in test case creation, execution, and bug tracking across all program phases.
  6. Design and write manual test scripts (minimum 7+ years of experience).
  7. Utilize automated testing tools such as Provar to develop automated test scripts.
  8. Test CRM, ERP, and integrated boundary applications.
  9. Create test cases and scenarios for integration points, covering positive, negative, boundary, and edge cases.
  10. Use defect tracking systems like JIRA effectively.
  11. Work closely with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to align testing objectives and requirements.
  12. Ensure adherence to testing standards, including code reviews and documentation.
  13. Collaborate with internal teams and customers to understand business objectives and requirements.
  14. Facilitate communication and collaboration for rapid implementation and continuous feedback.
  15. Work independently within a team and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
