GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The purpose of this position is to read packing lists and assembly drawings in order to assemble and package orders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow assembly instructions, processes, and procedures by reviewing assembly instructions, drawings, and parts lists.
• Assemble orders by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and subassemblies.
• Report problems with quality, processes, equipment, and materials to the Team Leader.
• Provide hands-on job function training to coworkers as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Team Leader, Production Supervisor, or Manager.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required.
• Follow directions carefully to complete the orders correctly.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be available and willing to work overtime and weekends as needed to satisfy customer needs.
