Job summary

Williamston Community Schools is seeking an E-Sports Assistant Coach for Fall and Spring seasons to support student-athletes and help organize practices.

The part-time position requires flexible schedules including afternoons, evenings and weekends, with a focus on sportsmanship, safety and alignment with school policies.

Reports to the Athletic Director and Building Principal; compensation per Master Agreement; position starts for the 26-27 E-Sports seasons; Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Philosophy consistent with Williamston High School's educational goals.
• Able to take direction and make mature decisions.
• Flexible schedule, available to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to work effectively with young student-athletes.
• Sport-specific knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibilities associated with the role of a coach
• Organize and conduct practices during the season
• Communicate effectively and as directed with coaches and Athletic Director
• Be supportive of high school academic, behavioral, and building policies
• Supervision of athletes
