Job summary

Williamston Community Schools is seeking a part-time coach for the 26-27 Boys Swim/Dive season. Reports to the Athletic Director and Building Principal, and collaborates with coaching staff to organize practices, communicate expectations, and uphold school policies.

The ideal candidate has coaching experience, a student-centered philosophy, and strong teamwork skills to support academic and behavioral standards for student-athletes.

Qualifications

• Previous coaching experience preferred.
• Philosophy consistent with Williamston High School's educational goals.
• Able to take direction and make mature decisions.
• Flexible schedule, available to work afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
• Ability to work effectively with young student-athletes.
• Sport-specific knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibilities associated with the role of a coach.
• Organize and conduct practices during the season.
• Communicate effectively and as directed with coaches and Athletic Director.
• Be supportive of high school academic, behavioral, and building policies.
• Supervision of athletes.
