About Our Client

Our client is a nationally recognized insurance company providing E&S (Excess & Surplus) access to agents and brokers. They are a leader in the industry, known for delivering exceptional products and fostering strong partnerships.

About the Role

As the Business Development Leader, you will:

  • Strengthen Partnerships: Build and maintain relationships with the leadership at the larger retail agencies/brokerages serving as the primary point of contact in the field.
  • Drive Strategy: Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize submission flow and identify cross-sell opportunities.
  • Facilitate Training: Provide valuable training and resources to agents and brokers, ensuring they are equipped to drive mutual success.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with underwriting and other internal stakeholders to align marketing efforts and achieve company objectives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years in E&S underwriting and/or marketing, with a strong understanding of the Commercial E&S market.
  • Leadership Mindset: A proactive individual ready to take ownership of high-level strategic initiatives.
  • Flexibility: Ability to travel frequently and thrive in a remote working environment.
  • Collaboration Skills: A relationship-builder who can work seamlessly with both external partners and internal teams.
