About you

Get ready to boost your career at Wevolt. You will play an instrumental role in our team. You should be passionate about eMobility and climate technologies, with at least 5 years of experience in developing and managing EVSE software projects. Your key responsibilities will include serving as a Solution Architect and expert in E-mobility standards and protocols (OCPP, OCPI). A strong track record of working in cross-functional teams and a relevant tertiary qualification in a technology-related field are essential.

Responsibilities :
  • Become our go-to expert on all E-mobility standards, requirements, and protocols.
  • Define requirements to meet global e-mobility standards and protocols.
  • Design scalable and secure e-mobility software architecture.
  • Authorize system sign-off before go-live.
  • Manage the software delivery roadmap.
  • Conduct software testing and automation.
  • Manage and mentor junior engineers and developers.
Required skills and experience:
  • Passion and knowledge in eMobility and climate technologies, including batteries, solar, and off-grid energy solutions.
  • Expertise in EV Charging Protocols, specifically OCPP and OCPI.
  • Core competencies: OCPP, OCPI, Java, Embedded Software, C/C++, Wireless Networks, Low Power Wireless, Bluetooth.
  • Familiarity with protocols: V2X, OICP, OSCP, XML, JSON, REST, Bluetooth, ZigBee, Z-Wave, TCP/IP, SQL, HTML, CSS, XSLT, WSDL.
  • Experience as a Senior Backend Developer with knowledge of Node.js, Go, Python Django.
Qualifications
  • BSc or MSc in engineering or related software development certifications.
  • OCPP / OCPI Protocol related training (highly regarded).
  • Project and requirements management qualifications.
