Part-Time Live Verify Phone Agents work with customers who opt to rent with U-Haul using our Truck Share 24/7 program. Customers process their rental and dispatch through the U-Haul app on their smartphones.Live Verification Phone Agents review the customer's information and are responsible for ensuring that everything meets the required standards before approving the rental dispatch. This position involves receiving inbound calls, making outbound calls, and interacting with customers via chat to explain or obtain the required information for rental. You will assist multiple customers digitally or via chat simultaneously.

Rate of pay: $16/hr (may vary depending on state or local minimum wage laws)
Schedules:
Current needs are for shifts in Arizona time:
- 5:00 am - 11:00 am - Days Off: Mon/Thurs or Mon/Tues
- 10:00 am - 4:00 pm - Days Off: Mon/Thurs or Mon/Tues
- 7:00 am - 2:00 pm - Days Off: Mon/Thurs or Mon/Tues
- Priority: Friday 3 pm - 10 pm
- You must be available to work holidays.
- 25 hours of availability per week
- Required: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (6 hours each day)

Essential Functions:
- Handle claim sessions for customers via Truck Share 24/7.
- Review sessions for accuracy and answer customer questions.
- Determine actions using instructional materials.
- Make outbound verification calls.
- Communicate efficiently and courteously via phone or chat.
- Ensure compliance with U-Haul policies to retain customer loyalty.
- Respond to communications promptly.
- Listen to and document customer concerns, resolving issues when possible.
Requirements:
- Good listening, verbal, and written communication skills in English.
- Inbound call experience preferred, high volume preferred.
- At least 1 year of phone customer service experience with excellent customer service skills.
- Technically savvy preferred.
- Skills in logic, reasoning, time management, facial recognition.
- Proficiency, attention to detail, interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and assist multiple customers online and via calls.
- Post-training, assist customers online and on inbound calls simultaneously.
- Reasonable and predictable attendance.
Training / Education:
- One week of instructor-led training, followed by independent work with ongoing education, coaching, and counseling.
- Class schedule: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays - 9 am-1 pm AZ or 4 pm-8 pm AZ.
Work from Home Requirements:
- Quiet, private workspace.
- Camera on and microphone unmuted during training and meetings.
- Childcare and dependent arrangements as if working at a U-Haul site.
- All work duties performed at your home address.
- Manager approval required for computer switches/substitutions.
Technical Requirements:
- Windows 11 OS.
- 16GB RAM minimum (32GB recommended).
- CPU benchmark score of 6,000 minimum (10,000 recommended).
- SSD with at least 5GB free space.
Additional Hardware:
- Webcam (external or built-in).
- Wired USB headset.
Internet Speeds:
- Ping under 100 ms.
- Download at least 50MB (100MB recommended).
- Upload at least 5MB (10MB recommended).
