Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED with 5+ years in Electrical and Instrumentation (or degree).
• Knowledge of industry standards relevant to electrical/instrumentation.
• Experience in pulp and paper preferred but not required.
• Drug screening after conditional job offer is required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate safety hazards before starting work; use PPE and NFPA-70E standards.
• Maintain awareness of environmental impact of work processes and results.
• Utilize mechanical and electrical skills in a pulp and paper process to achieve uptime.
• Collaborate with maintenance leadership and operations to troubleshoot issues safely and quickly.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities across the facility.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards to supervision.
