Location: Hartsville, SC
Position: E&I Technician
Pay: $31.92 - $36.58/hr - depending on experience/knowledge

We seek an E&I Technician who demonstrates excellent attendance, success in fast-paced environments, teamwork, communication skills, flexibility, and meticulous record-keeping. A willingness to learn and develop new skills is essential, along with pride in hands-on and analytical abilities, organizational skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring the integrity of the plant's electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems.
  • Installing, diagnosing, calibrating, maintaining, and repairing electrical, instrumentation, and control systems at an advanced level.
  • Supporting the Electric Shop with troubleshooting, call-ins, shift rotation, overtime, repairs, projects, etc.
  • Assisting in planning specialized equipment or projects.
  • Managing PLC, automation, DCS/QCS control systems, UPS systems, and compliance with EPA, DHEC, and radiation safety standards.
  • Maintaining instrumentation such as flow, level, temperature, pressure transmitters, and control elements across various plant systems.
  • Configuring and troubleshooting AC/DC drives, motor control systems, programmable logic controllers, HMI controls, and gauging sensors.
  • Supporting hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or a minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial electrical controls and systems.
  • Proficiency in computer controls software and MS Office.
  • Understanding of meters, instruments, piping and instrument diagrams, wiring diagrams, and related technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and under pressure.
  • High voltage experience is required.
