Dal-Tile is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team! The role involves making adjustments to machines and equipment for proper operation.

Primary Objectives
  • Perform complex mechanical duties and electrical trade functions in installation, maintenance, repair, and distribution of electrical energy.
  • Install, maintain, and replace electronic programmable controllers in a manufacturing environment.

Pay Rate: Based on in-person interview and NOCTI Assessment. Maintenance Levels III - V. $32.24 - $39.50/hr.

Work Schedule: Must be available for night shifts: Sunday-Tuesday 6:00 PM-6:00 AM, Wednesday 6:00 PM-Midnight, off Thursday-Saturday.

Major Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot PLCs using handheld device or laptop.
  • Design and update PLC and operator panel programs.
  • Install and maintain equipment for electrical power generation, distribution, and utilization.
  • Diagnose electrical system issues from blueprints and specifications.
  • Work with load calculations, serial communication systems, VFDs, and process control devices.
  • Lead process improvements and projects, ensuring equipment safety and efficiency.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized work area.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; electrical code knowledge; journeyman license preferred.
  • Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred.
  • 4+ years industrial maintenance and 2+ years electrical experience; formal PCL training preferred.
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
Skills & Competencies
  • Blueprint reading, troubleshooting electrical systems and PLCs.
  • Ability to pass an industrial maintenance exam with 80% or better.
  • Knowledge of LGV equipment and operation.
Physical & Environmental Conditions
  • Standing, using hands, reaching, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, sitting, climbing, balancing.
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, temperature variations, loud noise.
