Job summary

Saulsbury Industries is seeking an on-site E&I Project/Construction Manager for data center initiatives in Odessa, TX. You will lead the E&I team during the construction phase, coordinating with owners, engineers, subcontractors and company personnel to deliver safe, on-time, within budget projects.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience managing the E&I phase of large data center construction projects.
• Demonstrated success in management of large construction projects.
• Knowledge of project plans, specifications, owner contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, daily correspondence, drawings, submittals, and all other project related documents; maintain as-built drawings.
• Estimating experience a plus, not required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.
• Self-motivated with skills to motivate others.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical and administrative management for the E&I phases on data center projects.
• Lead the development and management of an E&I team during construction.
• Coordinate construction activities with the owner, subcontractors, and Company personnel.
• Manage project staff, including support staff, superintendents, project foreman, and assistants.
• Promote, enforce, and establish safety as a priority as part of the Company’s management philosophy.
• Ensure management is informed of project costs vs budgets via weekly labor and monthly budget reports.
• Coordinate and provide direction for budget estimating, purchasing, engineering, accounting, and construction functions.
• Initiate, establish and maintain relationships with owner, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors for construction activities.
• Organize, conduct, and represent the company at project coordination meetings.
• Review and approve subcontractor, vendor payment applications and invoices.
• Negotiate and issue change orders; manage revisions to the budget due to changes.
• Ensure timely billings and accounts receivable; ensure timely project completion.
