Responsibilities

• Program PLCs and distributive control systems; work with valves, meters, transmitters, hydraulics and pneumatics.

What We’re Searching for:

Hood Container Corporation, New Johnsonville Mill, will be accepting applications for Multi-craft Maintenance Technicians. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for but not limited to troubleshoot and perform preventative and corrective maintenance on process and facility equipment.

How You Will Contribute:

Perform maintenance on AC and DC motors, wiring and conduit, troubleshooting starters, breakers, variable frequency drives, PLC programming, distributive control systems programming, control valves, flow meters, pressure transmitters, hydraulics, pneumatics, tubing, welding, fabrication, and precision state improvements. Voltages up to and including 4160V.

What it Takes:

Applicants should be proficient in use of tools such as multi-meter, conduit and tubing bender, threader, hand tools and personal protective gear, as well as material and personnel handling equipment such as forklift, carry deck crane, man-lift, and overhead crane. Computer skills are required.

Requires 3+ years industrial maintenance experience with primary focus on electrical and instrumentation.
