Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Brewton, Alabama is seeking an E&I Maintenance Planner to support planning in the Utilities Department. You will work with maintenance and operations to ensure safe, efficient maintenance activities and contribute to a culture guided by Principle-Based Management.

The role requires coordinating work scopes, BOMs, and vendor timelines, with opportunities to improve reliability and reduce waste across maintenance events.

Qualifications

• One year or more in an E&I planning role or five years in an E&I industrial maintenance role.
• Experience reading P&IDs, loop sheets & equipment drawings, and understanding pipe codes.
• Experience generating Bill of Materials (BOM) and obtaining quotes.
• Experience with maintenance or turnaround planning, scheduling, and execution.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan work and develop job scopes in assigned areas using best-in-class methods to enable the craft to understand the scope of work and execute safely.
• Support events during all phases (Pre, Execution, Post); during execution, transition to Field Execution Coordinator as needed.
• Ensure vendors understand timelines and expectations.
• Communicate issues, opportunities and solutions early and often.
• Assist with logistics planning for each event.
• Develop and communicate ideas to improve reliability, reduce waste and drive performance.
• Promote MBM principles as part of daily business decisions.
