About You

In one of our manufacturing roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain equipment associated with the production, packaging and distribution of Kimberly-Clark products through preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance work.
  • This assignment is primarily accountable for electrical maintenance support at Loudon Mill. It requires supporting a specific asset and working maintenance downtime as needed.
  • Work on a range of technology and equipment in a clean, well‑lit environment.
  • Diagnose and resolve a variety of urgent challenges and problems (every day is different).
  • Join a team that supports your growth and development.
  • Help us advance manufacturing and respond to customer needs with greater speed and creativity.

Maintenance Partners typically work 10‑hour shifts / 4 days a week M‑F with evening and weekend call‑in support as needed.

Accountabilities
  1. Perform work in a safe manner and report unsafe acts and conditions.
  2. Assist in correcting unsafe acts and conditions.
  3. Re‑enforce safe work behaviors among team members.
Technical Proficiency
  • Ensure that process equipment and work areas are maintained in a manner that meets established housekeeping standards.
  • Actively participate in task analysis and process‑specific maintenance training, demonstrating retention of key process knowledge and maintenance skills.
  • Participate in activities and work groups which drive continuous improvement in the operating team, unit, and the mill’s ability to meet business requirements, manufacturing process capability, and the quality of work life.
  • Develop and continue to demonstrate skills and knowledge about the manufacturing process.
  • Learn and demonstrate problem‑solving/troubleshooting skills.
Relationship Management
  • Maintain constructive and effective working relationships with other work group members, Partners from other process areas, and Resources.
  • Proactively and constructively confront barriers to effective working cooperation or individual/group performance.
  • Exhibit flexibility by supporting any potential site needs, non‑day shift work (nights, weekends) along with call‑ins as required.
  • Communicate concisely, completely and in a timely manner about business issues.
Qualifications
  • Are 18 years or older and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Have a state and/or US Department of Education accredited high school diploma, GED Grade 12 certificate.
  • Have three (3) or more years’ experience of skilled electrical maintenance work within a manufacturing environment, or equivalent.
  • Have basic computer knowledge, mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
  • Can pass a pre‑employment assessment and a pre‑employment drug + background screening.
  • Can pass post‑offer / pre‑hire Physical Abilities Test (PAT).
  • Can physically work on elevated work platforms, catwalks, scaffolding, and enter confined space.
  • Post‑high‑school vocational training in E&I technology is desirable.
  • Specific trade experience in general electrical maintenance, PLC programming, instrumentation, DCS, and low to medium voltage electrical work experience are desirable.

Starting Hourly Wage: $33.33 USD

This position is eligible for the starting wage listed above, overtime pay and available pay increases within your first year.
