Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont is seeking a Warehouse Associate to prepare computer and electronic donations for shipping and recycling, ensuring compliance with Dell Reconnect and GRID requirements. You will load and unload donations, sort items for recycling or resale, perform hard drive destruction, and maintain clean, orderly GRID and dock areas.

Prepares computer and electronic-related commodities for shipping and recycling by ensuring compliance with established standards of Dell Reconnect, partnering recycling vendors and the GRID by performing the following duties.
Loads and unloads designated computer and electronic donations from several docks for incoming and outgoing shipments in an accurate and timely manner.
Sorts computer related items into various receptacles or designated areas to be shipped out for recycling or to be sold by The GRID.
Performs hard drive destruction utilizing crushing and shredding machinery.
Keeps the E-cycling and the GRID area, including assigned dock doors, clean and orderly.
Performs other job-related tasks as assigned by the GRID Store Manager or other members of management.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year electronic repair experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certified Forklift license preferred.
