E-Commerce Warehouse Crew Member (Kill Devil Hills)

DESCRIPTION
The eCommerce Warehouse Crew Member is an entry level position in our warehouse. They perform essential duties related to picking, packing , and shipping online orders as well as receiving and processing inbound freight. Individual will be performing tasks in multiple systems with focus on delivering product to the customer in a timely manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Follow directions for tasks assigned by Warehouse Manager and/or Team Leader
• Pick, pack, and ship orders with accuracy
• Receive and locate inbound freight in the warehouse
• Quality control products matching picked products with orders, validating, and prepping for the packing stations
• Pack boxes, utilizing good judgement and following guidelines set by manager to protect products efficiently and cost-effectively
• Use applicable software to weigh packages and print shipping labels, being mindful of shipping rates and bringing attention to manager when costs are excessive
• May be asked to work overtime in season.
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Warehouse experience preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Duties can be physically demanding
• May stand for up to 8 hours on concrete flooring
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
• Required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
