Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of jewelry, collectibles, and art. Ability to use online forums to research items to determine appropriate value.
  • High school diploma, GED or any job-related experience that will provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to be able to perform the essential functions of the position.
  • Computer skills, knowledge to navigate through online sales portals, payment systems, shipping systems, and online value sites.
  • Experience using a digital camera or cell phone camera.
  • Eye for great picture taking to pictorially describe items.
  • Creative writing skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain information.
  • Ability to work in collaborative team environments.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The eCommerce Technician is responsible for managing the online sales process by identifying high-value items and ensuring efficient order fulfillment. This position plays a critical role in supporting Goodwill Southeast Georgia’s mission by maximizing revenue from donated goods through digital platforms. The eCommerce Technician collaborates with leadership teams, maintains a clean and organized work environment, and fosters a positive and professional atmosphere.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
