Job summary

Gopher Sport is seeking an E-Commerce Operational Specialist with a Shopify emphasis to join the Digital Experience Team. You will ensure reliable, scalable website operations on Shopify, driving improved performance, integrations, and centralized KPIs.

With 5–8 years in Digital Marketing or E-Commerce and a Bachelor’s degree, you’ll build internal Shopify capability and contribute to a fast, innovative online experience for teachers, coaches, and kids.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in Digital Marketing or E-Commerce, with hands-on Shopify or related web platform experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or equivalent experience in E-Commerce, Marketing, or relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the performance and reliability of all system integrations (ERP, PIM, Punchouts, Payment methods, etc.).
• Proactively identify and prioritize opportunities to improve core site performance (page speed, navigation, search, checkout).
• Build and elevate internal team capability in Shopify, including training, documentation, and best practice sharing to increase in-house ownership.

Description

As our E-Commerce Operational Specialist, you'll be responsible for delivering improved, reliable, scalable, and efficient website operations on the Shopify platform. Your detailed work will result in “always-on” digital operations, efficiency and increased throughout for the department, reliable integrations within our app ecosystem, and improved centralized reporting on our core KPIs.
