Jordan’s, the leading furniture retailer in New England, invites motivated students to join our E-Commerce team as a Summer Intern for 10 weeks in Dedham, MA. This paid internship offers hands-on exposure to product setup, digital merchandising, website operations, and analytics in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Interest in digital marketing and ecommerce trends.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with ecommerce tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the eCommerce team with product setup, content updates, merchandising, and website maintenance.
• Support projects related to website enhancements, digital marketing campaigns, and customer experience improvements.
• Coordinate projects, track action items, and support cross-functional teams to meet deadlines.
• Prepare for development sprint planning by organizing requirements and prioritizing requests.
• Support reporting and analytics by compiling website performance metrics and sales data.
• Research ecommerce trends and competitor sites to inform improvements.
• Analyze web traffic and customer behavior to identify optimization opportunities.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Merchandising, IT, Logistics, and Customer Service to support deliverables.
• Gain hands-on experience with ecommerce tools and reporting systems in a fast-paced environment.

Jordan’s, the leading furniture retailer in New England, is looking for a passionate E-Commerce Intern to join our team for the summer of 2027. In this fast‑paced environment, you’ll help shape the digital customer experience, while gaining valuable skills in the growing world of online retail.

Through our “Furnish Your Future” Internship Development Program, you’ll jump‑start your career by learning the ins and outs of an innovative and customer‑focused E-Commerce department within a highly successful retail business. Your focus will be on gaining experience in key areas such as digital merchandising, website operations, online marketing, analytics, and customer experience optimization.

This is a 10‑week paid internship, starting June 7th 2027 based in Dedham, MA, with hybrid opportunities and travel to retail store locations throughout New England.

Responsibilities

• Assist the eCommerce team with day‑to‑day operations, including product setup, content updates, online merchandising, and website maintenance activities.
• Support special projects related to website enhancements, digital marketing campaigns, customer experience improvements, and ecommerce platform initiatives.
• Assist with project coordination activities, including tracking action items, maintaining project documentation, and supporting cross‑functional teams in meeting key deadlines and milestones.
• Help prepare for development sprint planning sessions by organizing business requirements, reviewing enhancement requests, tracking ticket status, and supporting prioritization efforts across the ecommerce roadmap.
• Support operational reporting and analysis by compiling website performance metrics, sales results, project status updates, and other business insights to help inform decision‑making.
• Conduct research on ecommerce trends, competitor websites, and industry best practices to provide recommendations for improving the customer experience and business performance.
• Help analyze web traffic, sales data, and customer behavior to identify opportunities for optimization and growth.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Marketing, Merchandising, IT, Logistics, and Customer Service, to support project deliverables and operational objectives.
• Gain hands‑on experience with ecommerce tools, project management processes, development lifecycles, and reporting systems while contributing to a fast‑paced digital business environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program, preferably in Ecommerce, Marketing, Information Systems, Business or related field.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Interest in digital marketing, eCommerce, and emerging retail trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with eCommerce or digital tools a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Enthusiasm to learn, contribute, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.

What You’ll Gain
