Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Dearborn, MI is seeking an energetic Store e-Commerce assistant manager to support the day‑to‑day operations of the e‑Commerce department and uphold the company values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.

You will supervise, schedule, train, and coordinate selectors and customer attendants, ensure compliance with laws, and continuously improve processes in a fast‑paced environment.

• Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).

Responsibilities

• Meet/exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness and cleanliness.
• Ensure team members adhere to laws, food safety procedures and company guidelines.
• Perform responsibilities of selectors and customer attendants as needed.
• Train all functions of selector and customer attendant roles.
• Act as person in charge of the e-Commerce department when the Store e-Commerce manager is unavailable.
• Assist with scheduling to meet operational and associates’ needs.
• Maintain intake of customer orders and distribute work to selectors and customer attendants.
• Print and distribute order labels, including perishable orders.
• Troubleshoot e-Commerce equipment and devices.
• Maintain supplies and staging areas and equipment.
• Report pricing, scanning, item location discrepancies and invalid temperatures to the store e-Commerce manager.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Learn and implement process improvements from division/enterprise e-Commerce teams.
• Provide feedback on daily and annual performance of team members.
• Ability to work in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a constructive manner.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek help to resolve issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES
