Job summary

LKQ Corporation is seeking an orderly, detail‑oriented online orders processor in Raleigh, NC. You will input orders, verify pricing and quantities, coordinate in-house order filling, and help maintain product listings across websites and marketplaces.

The role emphasizes accurate data handling and timely communication with customers about shipping dates and prices, with preference for prior telephone or internet sales and customer service experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of prior telephone sales, internet sales, customer service, and/or route sales.

Responsibilities

• Monitor marketplace storefront health and performance.
• Maintain standings for marketplace stores and product listings per guidelines.
• Post and upload product material/listings to support digital marketing.
• Monitor inventory changes and notify management when stock thresholds are not met.
• Process orders by entering and reviewing data for handling, pricing, quantities, and shipping.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support on orders.
• Inform customers of unit prices, shipping dates, delays, and needed information.
• Set up special order part numbers not regularly stocked.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

Responsible for processing online orders for company products and/or services, coordinating in-house product order filling, processing and shipping activities to support online orders, and assisting in maintaining product listings and materials on websites and in online marketplaces.

Essential Job Duties

• Monitor the health and performance of marketplace storefronts.
• Maintain good standings for marketplace stores and their product listings based on guidelines provided.
• Post and upload product material and listings on websites/portals to support digital marketing programs.
• Monitor inventory changes to ensure minimum stock levels and notify management when levels do not support the threshold.
• Process orders by entering orders and reviewing orders for correct handling, pricing, quantities, and shipping data.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical support on new or existing orders.
• Inform customers of unit prices, shipping dates, anticipated delays, and any additional information needed by the customer.
• Set up special order part numbers that are not regularly stocked.
• Assume other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Not responsible for supervising employees.

Minimum Requirements

• Education & Experience: High School Diploma/GED.
• 1+ years of prior telephone sales, internet sales, customer service, and/or route sales.

Preferred Requirements

• College coursework desired.
• Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts.
• Online Marketplace experience, i.e. Amazon or similar.
• Photography experience.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages and to draw and interpret graphs. Basic computer skills. Regularly uses moderately complex oral and written skills. May train others in functional areas, interact with others, and make presentations to the department or middle management.

Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures. Decisions generally affect one’s job or assigned functional area. Results are defined; sets personal own goals and determines how to achieve results with few or no guidelines to follow; supervisor/manager provides broad guidance and overall direction. Handle multiple tasks or projects simultaneously with moderate complexity.

Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment

Work is primarily sedentary: must be able to sit for extended periods and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse, frequently. Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements). The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
