EssentialFunctions:

TheE-Commerce Associate is responsible for identifying, researching, evaluating,photographing, and listing merchandise for online sale. This position plays animportant role in maximizing the value and revenue potential of donated goodsby recognizing unique, unusual, collectible, vintage, designer, andhigher-value merchandise appropriate for E-Commerce platforms.

Theideal candidate has a strong eye for valuable merchandise and familiarity withjewelry, collectibles, designer brands, vintage items, or other specialtygoods, along with the ability to research unfamiliar items and determine theirpotential resale value.

Responsibilities:

1. Sort, evaluate, and identify merchandise withstrong potential for online resale.
2. Recognize unique, unusual, collectible,vintage, designer, and higher-value items that may generate increasedE-Commerce revenue.
3. Identify and evaluate jewelry, includingfamiliarity with jewelry styles, brands, materials, markings, and otherindicators of potential value.
4. Recognize popular and high-value brands,designers, collectibles, and specialty merchandise across multiple productcategories.
5. Research merchandise using onlinemarketplaces, manufacturer resources, and other available tools to determineproduct details, market demand, and potential resale value.
6. Photograph merchandise and create clear,accurate, and appealing online listings.
7. Write detailed item descriptions thataccurately communicate condition, features, measurements, brand, and otherrelevant information.
8. Accurately enter product and inventoryinformation into E-Commerce systems.
9. Process individual items and groups ofmerchandise efficiently while meeting established production goals.
10. Properly assign listing numbers and organizeinventory for retrieval and fulfillment.
11. Prepare sold merchandise for shippingaccurately and within established deadlines.
12. Respond professionally to customer questionsand concerns via email and phone.
13. Follow established E-Commerce policies,procedures, and quality standards.
14. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workenvironment.
15. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Skillsand Abilities:

• Ability to recognize merchandise withpotential higher resale value.
• Strong research skills and curiosity aboutproducts, brands, trends, and market value.
• Knowledge of jewelry, collectibles, vintagemerchandise, designer/luxury brands, antiques, specialty goods, resale, oronline marketplaces preferred.
• Familiarity with online resale platforms suchas eBay or similar marketplaces preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including MicrosoftOffice and internet research.
• Photography or online product-listingexperience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizationalskills.
• Ability to work independently while meetingproductivity and quality expectations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-pacedproduction environment.

Requirements:

HighSchool Diploma or GED required.

Experienceor demonstrated knowledge in one or more of the following areas preferred:jewelry, collectibles, vintage merchandise, designer/luxury brands, antiques,specialty goods, resale, or online marketplaces.

WorkingConditions:
