Job description

The E-Commerce Parts Specialist supports the organization by processing part sales, through e-commerce platforms, for our customers. This position helps customers with finalize their existing orders or by addressing issues resulting after order placement. This individual is responsible for a positive customer experience, through client follow up, ensuring sales and product order satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Review, adjust, if needed, and process ecommerce orders in the order log.
  • Communicate with the team members in the parts departments within the dealerships to coordinate fulfillment of the orders
  • Track shipment and delivery of the orders.
  • Handle any issues or discrepancies with shipments.
  • Communicate delivery updates with the sales team.
  • Place an order for any parts that are back ordered.
  • Communicate with customers regarding their order status and address issues or concerns via appropriate communication methods.
  • Not specifically responsible for core returns but must ensure that cores are invoiced and accounted for on each order – per procedure.
  • Other duties beyond this representative listing may be assigned to the essential job duties and responsibilities of this position based on Company needs.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Other Skills and Abilities Required

  • Familiarity with accounting and inventory tracking software.
  • Strong SAP, financial, Excel, and database skills required. Basic accounting and payroll knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Participate in all training programs that are made available.
  • Keep current on new products and product updates.
