Job summary

Reading Truck Group is seeking a Manager of E-Coat and Industrial Water Treatment in Reading, PA to lead multi-shift E-Coat and water treatment operations. You will supervise personnel, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive system upgrades for efficiency and reliability.

The role requires strong project management and Lean/Six Sigma experience, with a background in polymer chemistry and safety. This position offers competitive benefits and career growth within a large, expanding fleet

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in industrial truck body coating or automotive E-Coat preferred.
• 3–5 years of supervision or management experience.
• Experience with polymer chemistry and water treatment processes is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with safety and environmental compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee E-Coat and water treatment operations across shifts.
• Supervise, train, and mentor personnel; enforce safety and company policies.
• Plan upgrades to improve performance, reliability, and efficiency.
• Manage upgrade projects from concept to completion with cross-functional teams.
• Maintain records, permits, DMRS, and regulatory documentation.
• Optimize chemical usage and supervise equipment maintenance.
• Provide testing guidance and interpret water analysis results.
• Develop SOPs for consistent and safe operations.
