Job summary

WHIZZ is seeking a Repossession Specialist to collect and recover electric bicycles and mopeds from debtors in the Washington, DC area. The role requires clear communication with debtors and coordination with law enforcement as needed.

The position is a 1099 contract with part-time/full-time scheduling, offering $20/hour plus additional payments per successful recovery, and gas reimbursement as a benefit.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in security or related field.
• Former or retired law enforcement preferred.
• Must own a car and be willing to use it for the job.
• Willingness to travel within DC and nearby cities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct round trips to collect and retrieve electric bicycles from debtors.
• Communicate with debtors regarding outstanding balances and collections.
• Use CRM, Google Sheets/Excel, and Notion for task management.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by other departments.
• Communicate effectively with law enforcement and delinquent customers.
• Travel across Washington DC and surrounding areas for day trips.
